T E D I O U S πŸ’€πŸ˜© This is literally as boring as it looks. I have to fill a lot of my week with cross training so this is a day in and day out session I do. On the weekends I will ride this elliptical for 90mins a day to mimic a long run! Kill me.... week days it's more like 60mins paired with the pool or Alter G treadmill. All part of the plan to get me back fitter then ever!

F O U N D A T I O N πŸ‹πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ As I return to running, the hardest part is avoiding another injury. I'm working through a very "high risk" period at the moment since my body was out of action for so long. At least 3 times a week I do basic weights to layer down a strong foundation and make sure my body is strong enough to avoid injury. This is a set of my squats.

B I K E F T W For the last 2 weeks I have finally been able to add in some other training either then pool running. I am not a huge fan of cycling but I will take it if it means getting out of the water for a change. Unfortunately I have to spin with my boot on which sucks but again, I'll take it!! 🚴🏻 Because this is a double day, here I am just sitting at about 145 heart beats per min. ❀️

B A N D S My daily program is riddled with gym right now since I can't run. Here I am doing medial glute work with a resistance band. I am close to being back on my feet so I am doing a lot of conditioning and activating of the leg muscles to have the body ready when I hit the ground running! πŸƒ

W O R K & P L A Y 🎏 Ryan and I had to sign some house papers at an ANZ branch but the closest was 1.5hrs away from Falls Creek.... so we brought our friend Joel with us and made a day trip to Bright, Vic. It was perfect weather so we frolicked in the water then went to the Bright Brewery afterwards. A perfect mix of work and play! 🍻

W A T E R W O R K S πŸ’¦ This is the last 30seconds of my 80min pool running session today. It sucks not being able to run at the moment but I spend my life finding different pools and water running like mad to maintain my aerobic fitness. This is in Mt Beauty, VIC and it's one of my favourite places to train.
